===== Installing MYOB ODBC ===== __Incident Description__ The MYOB Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver needs to be installed. If this is not done, MYOB Post 3 will display an error in the Debug Log window; “Data Source name not found and no default driver specified”, and you will not be able to use the post or see MYOB configuration tabs in the Options window. __Resolution__ The ODBC driver is available for installation from the MYOB installation disk and under normal conditions there will also be an option for installing MYOB ODBC in the Windows Programs menu, which does not require the disk. The installation will not run if a previous version of the ODBC is detected. The following message will be displayed; {{.:post3odbc001.png|}} [{{ 2000faq:2400accounting:2410myob:post3odbc003.png?150|ODBC Administration Window}}] **Note:** MYOB ODBC v6 is available from MYOB Premier 10 and Accounting Plus 16 installation disks.
