===== Reset IIS(Internet Information Services) =====

__Incident Description__

Need to stop, start or reset IIS if TSM Remote is also installed on the same machine while updating, reindexing or backing up TSM.

**Note:** Please make sure all TSM Remote users have logout tablets before running resetting IIS.

__Steps__

  - Login to the machine installed TSM, please contact your IT technician if you have trouble to login
  - Locate Command Prompt from Start > All Program > Accessories
  - Right click "Command Prompt" then select "Run as Administrator"

  * If you need to **stop IIS**, enter //iisreset -stop//, then hit enter, the outcome should be displayed as:

  * If you need to **start IIS**, enter //iisreset -start//, then hit enter, the outcome should be displayed as:

  * If you need **restart IIS**, enter //iisreset//, then hit enter, the outcome should be displayed as:
{{:7000tsm_remote:7200faq:7030iisreset.png}}
