===== Delete TSM Remote server update backups =====

**Background:** TSM Remote update will backup existing TSM Remote server folder before updating. It will be placed in the upper folder of TSM Remote server directory and named as current date. This guide will assist you to remove old TSM Remote server backups.



__Steps__

1. Open and login TSM Remote configuration page, please see [[7000tsm_remote:7200faq:7260serverconfigurl|]] if you have problem to find the address

2. Locate Maintenance Tab and copy the "TSM Remote Server Path"

3. Open file explorer or "My computer", paste the path into the address bar, remove the last folder then press Enter
For example, if the Path is C:\inetpub\TSMRemote\tsmservice\ we need to open the folder C:\inetpub\TSMRemote\

4. You should be able to see those backup folders named by updated date such as 2013-06-12

5. Delete the backup folders but please keep a most recent backup
