===== Job Customer ===== [{{ :8000tsm7:8100jobs:jobs.png?200|The Customer tab of the Jobs Module Screen}}] The Customer tab of the Jobs module allows the logging of and displays the details for the current Job's Primary, Billing, and Site Customer records. For small jobs, these records will likely all be the same. For larger and more complex jobs, the corporate customer, customer to be invoiced, and the site where the work is performed may all be different. ==== Customer ==== Here you select the primary [[8000tsm7:8150customers:8150customers|Customer]] for the Job. Entering the Customer's ID or clicking the search button and selecting a customer record will populate the Company Name, Contact, Phone Number, Address, and Customer Reference from the Customer's Card. It will also place the Customer [[:8000tsm7:8150customers:8160summary#notes|Notes]] into the notes field, and the job notes into the Service Requested. If the Customer record has [[8000tsm7:8150customers:8170detail#defaults|Defaults]] defined, these will be set on the job: Source, Sales Person, Department, Priority, Service Code, Job Type, Location, and Employee/Employee Group. ==== Billing Customer ==== The Billing Customer will be the customer Invoices are raised for, and Payments received from. Any customer record can have a default Billing Customer set, which will populate the Billing Customer details when a job is created for them. Having a Billing Customer set will default the Payment Type and Tax Code fields on the job, and its Price Code will determine the Mark-up/Price used when adding Parts, Fees, and Expenses. ==== Site Customer ==== The Site Customer area is where you enter the details of where work on the Job will take place. You can enter an existing Customer record, or keep the ID blank and manually enter the Site details.
