This User Guide is aimed at providing step-by-step workflows explaining the functionality of the software. A series of “How to…” documents cover various basic tasks such as “How to add a customer“, “How to add a product”, etc. These are structured in such a way that a new user needs to read though only the first workflow offered therein to get started on the particular task documented. The longer and more detailed example workflows tie it all together. The aim is to expose the user to the capabilities of the software by providing workable instructions on performing real-world tasks. TSM has been designed based on industry user specifications. For this reason it is very flexible. There are many ways one can perform a specific task in TSM and this manual aims to provide you with the essential information to choose the best way for yourself. Each How to… document provides both the basics – the bare minimum of information required to make a useful record as well as an explanation of its more advanced features. Not all of these will be immediately applicable to your business or what you aim to do with the software, however, you can always revisit this manual if you want to incorporate their use into your workflows. There is essentialy no “wrong” way to perform a task in TSM, but there is always a “better” way and this manual aims to arm you with the knowledge of the software’s capabilities such as to allow you make an informed decision on how you want to use it to run your business.
