The Backup/Restore utility allows the management of backup data sets.
On the Backup tab select which organisations you wish to create an archive for, and the location to save the backup zip to. When clicking Backup, a zip file will be created with the name format: “dbbackup” #organisation name #username #date #time.
To Restore data back into the TSM database, open the Restore tab select a backup zip using the browse button, then an organisation to restore. Enable the Copy checkbox to restore the data into a different organisation, otherwise the Restore will overwrite the existing organisation the backup was created for.
The Send to Support tab allows a backup to be sent to TSM Support for diagnostic purposes. Simply select which zip file to send using the browse button and click the Send to Support button.
