Register and unregister tsm.dll

Incident Description

For customer making a copy of TSM for testing or other purposes, they need to unregister the tsm.dll file for the “inactive” TSM copy, and register the tsm.dll file for the “active” TSM copy.

Resolution

1. Run cmd.exe in the start menu as an administrator.

2. In cmd go to the directory of the “inactive” TSM copy. And type in regsvr32 /u tsm.dll. As the figure below.

3. Hit “ENTER” and you will see the message below.

4. In cmd go to the directory of the “active” TSM copy. And type in regsvr32 tsm.dll. As the figure below.

5. Hit “ENTER” and you will see the message below.

6. Close cmd.exe and use the active TSM.
