The Publisher Could Not Be Verified
Incident Description
When running TSM or its installation programs, a security warning dialogue appears.
Resolution
By default, new versions of Windows will warn when accessing files over the intranet, which have not been certified via digital signature. To stop this warning from appearing, alter your local computer group policy.
Note: This document is provided as information only. Changing Windows policy settings can have adverse effects and should only be carried out by system administrators.
1) On the Start menu, click run.
2) Type gpedit.msc and click OK
3) Expand Local Computer Policy→User Configuration→Administrative Templates→Windows Components→Attachment Manager.
4) Double-click “Inclusion list for moderate risk file types”.
5) In the Properties dialogue→Setting tab, click enabled.
6) In the text field add “TSM*.exe” and click OK.
7) Close the Group Policy console.
Note: This will apply to the local computer only. To alter group policy in a domain environment, please contact your system administrator.
Note: This setting will not apply to programs accessed from the internet zone.
