Priority Matrix

Priority Matrix tab

Priority Matrix allows you to automatically add parts to a job for this customer based on the priority code.

This is very useful where you want to set some predefined fee types based on the Priority code.

For example, you have agreed on a fixed job price of $200 travel and $500 to fix. These can be added as non-stock parts to a job to identify these costs every time the priority code in the Priority matrix is selected. You can create fictitious parts by setting them as “non-stock”.

The price set for each item is based on the normal price calculated for that contact for that item.

Priority Matrix entries can be added and deleted via the New, Save and Delete buttons.

Priority Code

The priority code to which a product will be automatically assigned to a job. When the priority given here matches the priority of a job and this contact is the billing contact of that job, then the selected part will be added.

Product

Identify a product that will automatically be added to the job when this priority code is selected. Click the button to bring up the product search screen.

Quantity

The quantity of the item that you want to set for the parts used under this priority.
