Reordering Parts

Reorder Parts Screen

The TSM parts reordering facility enables the batch creation of multiple purchase orders for parts in the TSM Product database. To commence reordering, select the Reorder Parts option from the Action - Products menu.
You can also choose to reorder just the selected product by selecting the button in Product Maintenance.

The Reorder Parts screen will display a list of Products sorted by Location and then by Product ID.

Reorder Type

The first dropdown selects to reorder parts for inventory or requisitions.

Job #

Enter a specific job to reorder parts for.

Which Parts?

Filters the list do display only the parts specified:

  • All - All Products are displayed
  • Reorder Lvl Not 0 - Only those products with a Reorder Level set are displayed
  • Reorder Due - Only those products with a Reorder Point at or below the on-hand quantity are displayed.
Find Product in the list below

Jumps to a specified product in the list. Enter the ID (or first few characters) and hit Tab or Enter.

Location

Filters the list to display parts in only the selected location. Check the ‘Include All Location’ button display all parts regardless of location.

Supplier

Filters the list to only display parts which come from the specified supplier. Check ‘Include Parts with no Supplier’ to display parts with no supplier specified on the product card.

Supplier Type

Filters the list to only display parts which come from a supplier of the specified type.

Merge with Today’s Last Order

Merges any orders created from this screen with a an existing Purchase Order if created today.

Stock Items Only

Uncheck the ‘Stock Items Only’ option to display Products that are marked as Non-Stock.

In the product list every instance of a product in each location will be displayed. The yellow columns allow you to select the following:

Supplier

The Supplier defaults to the default supplier for the Product ID if one was selected. You can change this to any supplier you have in the TSM Contact Maintenance.

Reorder Qty

You can manually enter a quantity into the Reorder Reorder Qty column or press the Toggle button to automatically assign the Required quantity to the Reorder Quantity.

Click the button to refresh the list when changing any filter settings.

Press the button to automatically set all the Reorder Quantities to their respective Required Quantity.

When you have set the Reorder Quantity for all parts you want to reorder parts for, press the button. TSM will create one new Purchase Order for each Supplier selected.
