Training Courses/Qualifications

The Training Courses/Qualifications tab allows you to record employees training, qualifications and course details. Training course and qualification information is a key component of ISO 9000 certification.

Click to add an entry or to delete the selected entry.

When finished select to commit your changes or to undo the entry.

This information applies to job creation where the qualifications of the employee assigned to the job are checked against the qualifications needed for the job type. The job type requirements are set in Job Type Codes Setup and added to the job on the Job Logging tab). If they do not match the warning will appear:

Setting training qualifications is useful in a business employing many people with varying skill sets which services customers with rigid service demands or specialized equipment, requiring specific qualifications from its service personnel.

Note: Whilst a warning will be displayed if an employee is assigned on the job card lacking the qualifications for the job type, this relationship is not rigidly monitored. TSM will allow the creation of a Contact with a default job type requiring different qualifications to those of the default Technician. When a job is created for such a contact, once again no warning will be displayed. TSM assumes that the user will assign appropriate default technicians and job types when setting up the contact.

Read-only field that displays the EmployeeID + the Employee name as it would appear on a report.

An optional unique code used to define the Course / Qualification. This is used to match up with the Codes assigned to Job Types for restricting technicians on jobs to those with current training / qualifications. The Qualification code is created and assigned in Codes Setup for Job Code.
