Help Desk screen

The Help Desk view of the job card is designed for tracking and addressing support issues. Its layout differs significantly from other job cards, with the addition of the Web Layout and Settings tabs.

The Web Layout tab allows you to view inbound and outbound emails with their HTML tags rendered, which is useful if a XML processor has been set up to feed jobs into TSM from a mail queue automatically.

Settings tab

Settings

The Job information and Financial sections relate to existing fields on the standard job cards. The Job Filters are unique to the Helpdesk and are used to restrict which jobs appear when using the Toolbar Arrows, and the number of records thus located is displayed in the top right. Hint: The Incomplete Jobs Only checkbox is also used to filter jobs.
