Job and Assignment information can be sent from TSM in SMS format. SMS buttons on the Job Logging and Assignments tabs of job cards, as well as Assignment and Employee Maintenance screens allow you to send an SMS message to the current employee. A dialogue will appear allowing you to confirm and edit the contents of the SMS message.

The number the message will be sent to is set in the Mobile field on the Employee card. Note: To ensure compatibility with the SMS gateway, enter numbers without spaces.

SMS messages are sent from TSM as emails to a SMS gateway provider. The SMS gateway settings are defined on Page 2 of the Job Cards tab in setup.

The reports which are used to generate SMS message content can be found by selecting SMS Jobs from the Report Type dropdown in Setup Reports.
