User ID
The User ID in TSM is otherwise known as the “Employee Code” in TSM’s Employee Maintenance. The User ID input box allows TSM Remote Users to sign in to TSM Remote. To log into TSM Remote the Employee must be a TSM Remote user.
Steps to enter the User ID 1. Select the red input box next to the User ID label. The cursor will blink when selected. 2. Click on the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen. A virtual keyboard will appear. 3. Choose the characters of your User ID on the virtual keyboard with your stylus. The red input box will change to a white input box.
Password
The password input box allows Users to sign in with the use of their password. If there is no password required TSM Remote users can access TSM Remote without the input of the User’s password.
To change the setup of TSM Remote login please see the configuration utility page. Steps to enter the Password 1. Select the red input box next to the User ID label. The cursor will blink when selected. 2. Click on the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen. A virtual keyboard will appear. 3. Choose the characters of your User ID on the virtual keyboard with your stylus.
Go Online Tickbox
Tick the go online tickbox to acknowledge the user would like TSM Remote to connect to the server to get the latest settings and data. When the user selects “Go Online” TSM Remote is able to sync actions with TSM.
If the user logs in and wants to go online the Sync drop down menu allows the user to go online by syncing TSM Remote and choosing the task bar “Go Online”.
