Network Paths

TSM can be access across the network via 2 types of links: Mapped Drives and UNCs.

Mapped drives are saved UNCs which are referred to using a drive letter (e.g. F:\tsm\)

UNCs are full network paths referencing the server name and shared path (e.g. \\server\tsm\).

In all cases we recommend the use of UNCs for both TSM shortcut locations and start in directories, and when starting TSM using the Windows Scheduler.
