Reset IIS(Internet Information Services)

Incident Description

Need to stop, start or reset IIS if TSM Remote is also installed on the same machine while updating, reindexing or backing up TSM.

Note: Please make sure all TSM Remote users have logout tablets before running resetting IIS.

Steps

1. Login to the machine installed TSM, please contact your IT technician if you have trouble to login
2. Locate Command Prompt from Start > All Program > Accessories
3. Right click “Command Prompt” then select “Run as Administrator”

• If you need to stop IIS, enter iisreset -stop, then hit enter, the outcome should be displayed as:
