Resources

[The Resources Module Screen]

The Resources module allows the recording and management of your business's Consultants, Assets, and Facilities. Resources can be assigned to jobs and time entries can be logged against resources.

  • Consultants are Non-Employee people / companies associated with your business, for whom you do not want to use an Employee record (e.g. subcontractors). For example, you can create assignments for consultants to attend a job.
  • Assets are equipment and devices (e.g. you might require a van or a crane to complete a job).
  • Facilities are buildings, rooms, or sets of devices. For example, you might need to book a meeting room for a certain time.

The usage of these Resources can be booked out using Assignments, and have costs recorded and prices charged out using Time Sheets.

This screen is split up into 3 tabs - Summary, Detail, and History.
