User Defined Fields
The User Defined Fields utility allows the creation of extra fields in many TSM modules. These fields can be customised to meet extra business workflow needs, and will appear in the User Fields tab of each module.
To create new Field click the New button in the Toolbar, select the Module to place the field on (Jobs, Employees, etc.) the Field type (text, number, date etc.), a label which will appear next to the field, and the tab number on which the field will appear. Extra Labels or Buttons designed to perform calculations can be created by setting the Component type dropdown, and entering code in the Expression field.
Existing User Fields can be viewed for the current module by clicking on the Tab 1 - Tab 10 and the Unassigned/Assigned tabs. Fields for all modules can viewed by clicking the List view button in the Toolbar.
To place the current Field in a module, drag the Field icon onto any user field. Alternatively click in any field on a User Fields tab, and click the Design Mode button.
