The Import utility allows Product and Customer data to be quickly entered into TSM from an existing database. The fields format required for import are defined in the following spreadsheets:

Customer Import Template

Note that only the fields you wish to import have to be included in the import file.

After selecting whether to import products or customers, and choosing file to import from, you can select how the import handles records which already exist in TSM (ignore duplicated, update the existing record and import new, or only update existing records). Existing records are matched on Product Number in the products database, and Customer Code in the customer database.
